Seb has finished reading The Power of Silence: Further Lessons of Don Juan by Carlos Castaneda and has started learning how the I-Ching works and how to use it.
He has an English keyboard without accents so he has decided to write about his recent exploits in English as opposed to in French.
One night, whilst contemplating the I-Ching , I suddenly vaguely remembered Terence & Dennis McKenna’s parallels between the I-Ching and the Mayan Calendar and how the I-Ching correlated with the end of the Mayans calendar. Wanting to elaborate on this train of thought I started reading about the Mayans calendar that is mysteriously calculated from the ending date of Winter Solstice 2012. According to todays and to the ancient Mayan astrologers this date is the exact time when our Planet, the Sun and the center of the Milky Way "dark rift" align. To some this represents a great year of spiritual transformation, a shift in human consciousness to others this represents the start of an apocalypse, the destruction of an Age and the birth of a new one.
After having read about so many major happenings, prophecies, predictions and theories written about this special date I thought I should interest myself a bit more to the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar.

I started becoming mystified by the Mayan ‘sky watchers’ uncanny skills in astrology, of their pure obsession of the Milky Way and its relation to life and death and their amazing way of counting the time. I started looking at there mythology that evolved around the stars, mythical animals and people of the cosmos. So like the Mayans I decided to pick the most important date to me, my birth date and see what Mayan Sun sign I was to see how I was represented in their world of above.

And like magic I find my Sun God is Chicchan fifth of the Mayan Tzolk'in calendar, that is represented by the head of a snake within a cartouche. The snake was my nickname at school because I stole pens of people, then it grew into my Graffiti pseudonym and was written on hundreds of walls and later I used it in my web address “snakebyte”. Thus the snake has been following me in life, virtual life and now in my cosmic life. The Mayan harmonic message does not stop there. When I further my research on Chicchan I discover that the word literally means: “ snake bite”. Once again I am amazed by the Mayans uncanny way of generating coincidences.

And so I start the coming of a new Age with a beautiful parallel:
The Comic snake bite in the Milky Way and the Electronic snakebyte in Cyberspace.

Hasen a passé l'été le plus sportif de sa vie.
Always running!
Très peu de passages at the University of Art and Design!
